Settle the Galway Driving Test nerves at the Clybaun Hotel
You may have been down this road before, or you could be turning a new corner… Enough of the Driving Test jokes. From April 7th, the Clybaun Hotel will now be the starting point for the RSA Galway driving test. This is good news for you, as our family hotel is a calm and relaxing environment to settle your nerves.
The driving test can be a stressful time, and everybody is nervous upon starting it. Some people need a moment to sit and relax before starting their exam. Others will need a space to process their feelings upon completion of the RSA test.
It is expected that the Clybaun Hotel will be the home of the Westside Driving Test Centre for 12-18 months. During this time, our helpful team wants to welcome all candidates to make themselves comfortable.
Bathrooms are available in the lobby, and the reception team are more than happy to answer any queries you may have.
Sitting in the Conservatory at the Clybaun is beautiful. This newly refurbished space overlooks the courtyard. It is the Perfect place to come and have a morning coffee and scone or some lunch.
We serve lunch from 12:30pm to 3:00pm in the conservatory. You can view our lunch menu, and ask about our specials!
The Courtyard restaurant and coffee dock is a brilliant space to have a more substantial meal after your Galway Driving Test at the Clybaun.
Take your time to decompress and tuck into a delicious meal. The Clybaun Chowder has been likened to a warm hug, and is sometimes needed after your test.
If you’re travelling to the test centre with a companion, there is lots of parking for them. Your companion is welcome to wait in the hotel while your complete your driving test.
The entire hotel is connected with high-speed wifi, offering them time to browse while they wait.
